9. How can I access funds from my account?
You can withdraw money at any UCB – Umoja Switch ATM, over the counter at UCB branch and you can also access your account through UCB – Umoja Switch Mobile Banking Service.
10. How can someone apply for an investment loan at UCB?
The customer writes a loan request addressed to the UCB General Manager, together with a feasibility study of his/her project.
11. Who can benefit from UCB credit?
Any physical, sound or moral person who fulfills the required conditions
12. After how long can I get a loan when I open an account?
After a minimum of three months, however this is handled on a case by case basis.
13. What should I do if I lose my ATM card?
Call UCB Customer Service and alert the bank that the card is lost for blocking and reapplication purposes.
14. Does your cards have debit/credit facilities?
Our cards are debit cards and currently we do not have credit card facilities.
15. What are the interest rates on your fixed deposits?
The rates vary based on amount and tenor. Kindly contact our Customer Service for more details.
16. What are the requirements / charges for opening an account with you?
Account opening requirements vary between accounts; browse through our products section to get more information on the requirements for the specific accounts we cater to both your personal and business banking needs.
17. How often will I receive a statement of account?
Statements will be sent / printed time to time for both current accounts and savings accounts, upon customer request.
